2010 DELAWARE QUILTS SUPER STASH BOWL Second Quarter                         OK, so what other blocks can we make using all of our DHSs that we can make into quilts… Both of these quilts are eight blocks across and eight down. Another favorite of mine is Broken Dishes. It takes two matching pairs of your DHSs. Twist those same squares just a little bit, and you get a pinwheel block.     Here is my Broken Dishes quilt made using all Aunt Grace Scraps. Well ok, maybe it wasn't all scraps, some of it was just stash. Hint… I like this one because you get two looks in one, Broken Dishes and Pinwheel. If you look closely, you can see both blocks in the same quilt. That’s another reason this quilt appeals to me so much. Click photo to see larger photo.
