This quilt is for sale to benefit the American Cancer Society and Relay For Life. The quilt is made of 100% cotton fabrics and has a 100% cotton batting. The backing fabric is the same red seen in the border, and the binding (finished edge) will be that same fabric. I made the quilt using my Spinning Stars BOM pattern. It is set on point with a complimentary sashing. It was hand quilted by Donna of Busy Bee Quilting. The finished quilt is 77 inches wide and 95 inches long. You may purchase this quilt for a generous donation, price is negotiable. You will receive a tax receipt from the American Cancer Society for your check so the entire amount is tax deductible.     This shows how the quilt covers a queen size bed, including the pillows, with just a little bit of overhang at the bottom of the bed. This shows the quilt turned the other way, so there is overhang on both sides.         And this shows how much overhang there is on this bed. Remember that will vary depending on the height of your mattress. (In these photos the binding has not been applied, but it will be finished before I ship it off to its new owner.) I will request that payment be made by cashiers check or money order made payable to American Cancer Society. If you send me a personal check, I will not ship the quilt until your check has cleared the bank. Or you may pay me by credit card by making a donation to my Relay web page here. I was asked if I will take payments, of course. You may make as many payments as needed, and the quilt will be shipped when it is paid in full. Final payment must be received by April 15, 2009. I will ask that you also pay HALF of the shipping cost, I will pay the other half. The cost of shipping must be paid by check made payable to me, Marge Gordon.
