7:00 PM to 8:00 AM 9-May John Gordon Front 40 - Restroom Brigade Volunteer Activity Front Restroom 25 points per Hour of Service Restroom brigades are responsible for keeping the restrooms clean and ensuring paper products are available.   Cleaning and paper supplies will be provided.   At this writing we have enough teams signed up for the 2007 Relay.  Thank You!
7:00 PM to 8:00 AM 9-May John Gordon Clean Team Volunteer Activity Stage Area, Large Tents & Track 25 points per Hour of Service Clean Team We need help cleaning up after each of the events.  Any Team that would like to be a “Clean Team” can sign up for helping in one hour increments.  Areas of focus are the stage area, the large tents, and the track. 
7:00 PM to 8:00 AM 9-May John Gordon Luminary Helpers Volunteer Activity Luminary Stand 25 points per Hour of Service We need help putting together the Luminaria.  Each of the bags needs to be filled with sand, and a candle added to it.  After which, they need to be sorted out alphabetically so that they may be picked up by the donors. Sign up with Suzette Hopkins.   She will report the spirit points earned to Trish McMichael.

Each participating team who will be helping with Morning Cleanup must sign up at the Judges Stand before midnight! 
NOTE - ALL TEAMS are responsible for cleaning their campsites
and the surrounding area.
JUDING CRITERIA
NOTE: For ALL of the competitions ( Laps, Costumes, Spirit Poles, Campsite Judging, etc.) there will be four criteria used by the judges.
They are:
  1.  Related to the Theme
  2.  Educational Component (Cancer facts)

  3.  Different / Unique
  4.  Enthusiasm
TIMING FOR LAP JUDGING - Starts at the beginning of each hour until 20 minutes after the hour (beginning at 7pm and stopping at 8:20am)
The judges will need time to tally scores, create certificates, walk some laps and rest a little between events, so please see the Judges within the first 20 minutes of each hour!
SPIRIT AWARDS
The purpose of the Spirit Awards is:
  1.  Recognize the efforts of participants
  2.  Provide an organized fun competition during the Relay event
 

3.  Encourage participation
4.  Winners receive bragging rights for the year and will be noted on 
What? Don’t have a Spirit Pole? 
Stop by The Gordon Team Fund Raiser and pick up a Spirit Poles for $5 and decorate a Team Flag for $5 (Limit first come, first serve)
