At theAmish View Inn and Suites

The 2010 project has been decided, and it will be another mystery project! You may link to a project introduction and fabric requirements here. Of course if you have piles of UFOs you want to work on, you certainly may bring them along.

We are starting a day earlier for those who requested it. You may check in on Wednesday November 10 after 3:00 PM if you'd like an extra day of retreating fun. Of course it will cost you more too, but you expected that, right?

Check in at the front desk for your room keys. After you've unloaded your car, bring your sewing supplies to the conference room on the lower level.

For those who have asked or are just wondering, yes we will be wearing name tags again, so we know who everyone is. Everyone should wear a QUILTED and finished name tag that has on it your name and where you are from.

Show and tell will be every night, but you may only show a project one time please. We will take a few minutes every evening for you to show one or two of your favorite quilts.

The retreat will officially begin at check in on Thursday any time after 3.00. We can start working on our projects until 5:00, when we will close the conference room for dinner. The conference room will close and everyone will take a break.

We will reopen at 7:00 and resume sewing. We'll finish about 9:00 so you can take a relaxing dip in the hot tub if you'd like, or just stay in the conference room and keep on working.

Friday will be shopping day for those who need to add to their stash. I will hand out shopping directions and coupons (if I can find any) we have to aid you in your adventure. The conference room will be closed until 1:00 when it will reopen for those who have shopped out. When ever you are finished your shopping you can come back and continue your project.

The conference room will close at 5:00 for dinner and reopen no later than 7:00 so we can continue working on our projects. The conference room will remain open until 11:00 (or later if you want to sew!)

The conference room will reopen at 8:00 on Saturday for those who wish to continue sewing. Remember that most stores are closed on Sunday so be sure to visit all the wonderful shops Saturday. Take advantage of all there is around here, go out and explore.

The conference room will close at 5:00 for dinner and reopen no later than 7:00. After dinner head back to the conference room. We will continue working on our projects and have some retreat fun while working.

Saturday night we will have a Retreat Relay For Life FUNdraiser. It will be guaranteed fun and exciting, but I haven't decided yet how we'll do it. I would like each person to bring a small quilt related Pollyanna gift worth between $5 and $10. (Wrapped or unwrapped to be decided later)

Sunday morning the conference room will open at 9:00 for you to collect your belongings, and will close at 10:30 for checkout. Check out is before 11, and you must check out at the front office.

Cost will be:
Doubles (two people sharing one room) $270 per person
Private room $525

Extra Night - Doubles (two people sharing one room) $90 per person
Private room $175

Retreat package includes accommodations and class or classes.

A $100 non-refundable deposit per person is required when you make your reservation.

Please be sure you understand the cancellation policy (below) before you send your deposit.

To reserve a room in any retreat, you must send a $100 non-refundable deposit. This will reserve you a space in the conference room, and a room to sleep in. I will not match roommates, so if you do not have a friend to accompany you, you must pay for a private room. If one roommate cancels, the remaining roommate shall be required to pay for a private room, or provide their own paying roommate. For this reason, you should choose your roommate carefully.

Payment in full must be received by September 1, 2010. Payment must be received on time or the reservation will be cancelled and all deposits forfeited.
Cancellations must be in writing. Email is fine, but if you do not get an acknowledgement within three days you should email again and/or snail mail.
Cancellations made after September 1st are transferable to another person, but not refundable.

I have to pay my bills on time, and I would appreciate it if you would do the same.
