Lancaster Area Photos

Here are some of my favorite photos of the Lancaster area from 13 years of retreats. Many of these photos were taken from the car while traveling from quilt shop to quilt shop.

November 2009

Below, our new retreat location, the Amish View Inn and Suites

and on the left the view from our bedroom window when we checked in Nov 3rd.

The next morning the farmer was out harvesting the feed corn

Spring 2009

This is my dream home, but it isn't the house that I dream of. The house sits way too close to the road for me, and looks a little small, and the air conditioners in the windows tell me it doesn't even have central air....

But it isn't the house I am dreaming of.. it's the view from that house.
