Celebrating Years of Retreating!

September Retreat, Thursday September 7 through check out Sunday September 10


This retreat was shared by ladies from the Calvert County Guild
and several different Red Hat groups,
and a fun time was had by all.

Our first retreat project was Crooked Squares and some people got right into it.

The Red Hat ladies sewed with their hats on


Friday was shopping day and a lot of shopping was done.


But it was also our first retreat tea. Debbie shared with us her knowledge of teas and other goodies.


And after dinner we made pillowcases, class two.



Other people got a head start on their tessellated table runners, class three.


Saturday some ladies finished up their table runners early in the day,


and everyone who wanted to was well into the project,


so we had an unscheduled demonstration on string blocks, class four!
